Ongoing & Upcoming EFS Events

First Wednesday Song Circle

If singing all sorts of songs on a lovely evening in June is your cup of tea, then come join the fun at a good old-fashioned song circle. The next EFS Song Circle will be on Wednesday, June 5th from 7:00-9:00 pm at Lee's house in Springfield. For address and directions you can call Lee at 541-359-3534.

Bring your own copy of the Rise Up Singing songbook. We might have a few copies until you get your own. We go around the circle usually 3 or 4 times, and each person picks a song to sing each time around. It's a wonderful way to share songs we know, and learn new ones from others. There are always surprises, and we laugh almost as much as we sing!

Musicians of acoustic stringed instruments are always welcome to add color and texture, rhythm and chords, to the warm sound of voices in the room.

Tradition has always been that we socialize and have snacks after singing. You may bring a snack or beverage to share if you care to, though it's okay if you don't.

For info about song circle in general, call Carol at 541-556-8241
