The Eugene Folklore Society amazingly presents the ODD Camp in ODD years!!
Midsummer Madness 2011
July 29-30-31 at Living Waters Camp overlooking the mighty McKenzie River, 14 miles east of Eugene.
For a weekend of dance, music, sports, song, climbing walls, play, and the camp has a big HEATED swimming pool.
Contra Dance Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday morning in the 1930s vintage lodge with a stage and a fine old Oak dance floor.
Music is provided by our favorite band:
THE NETTLES: Laura Brophy — fiddle, Kevin Johnsrude — guitar, Michael Procter — bass, and adding Rick Rubin — percussion
Calling by the Dance Magician, all the way from Atlanta
SETH TEPFER the man who surprises even himself
with Erik Knoder providing sound engineering (minus the train)
Choose from: Tent camping, Cabin bunkbeds, your Rig, the Hilton, etc.
Camp begins with a POTLUCK dinner Friday, then scrumptious meals are prepared through Sunday lunch by the camp's gourmet chef.

Midsummer Madness opens Friday July 29 at 5pm, potluck 6:30, dancing 8pm. ending Sunday at 5pm after dancing and sports, no stage takedown this year! Living Waters Camp & Conference Center is located 20 minutes east of Eugene on Deerhorn Road off highway 126, with lots of sun and open space, great lodge, volleyball court, trails, and a big heated (like warmer) swimming pool with a diving board.
