Precautions

As of April 17, we will take the following precautions at the dance:

  • Only fully vaccinated people will be allowed to attend the dance.
  • We will check your vaccination card when you enter.  We will be retaining the information so that, if this rule remains in place, we will not need to check your card at each dance.
  • All in attendance must remain masked during the event while indoors, except when actually drinking water.
  • Everyone will need to sign a waiver.

Comfort

The school has put in windows that open, equipped with fans to improve the air circulation.  This will also improve our safety by reducing the risk of aresols building up in the room which could contain germs.  This will be the first time that we are using the hall with open windows.  We suggest bringing something you can dance in that will keep you warm in case the room gets too cold.

Band:  Celtonauts

Jeremy Wegner and Chip Cohen are long-standing fixtures on the Eugene folk music scene. Jeremy is an original member of the Sugar Beets and plays mandolin with the Laura Kemp Trio and sitar with Bindaas. Jeremy and  Chip have been performing together in the Klezmonauts since its inception in 1996, and more recently in the Celtonauts.
