Cascade Contras Registration Form (#10)

Register here for Cascade Contras on the River 2025

The Eugene Folklore Society warmly welcomes all contra dancers to Cascade Contras on the River!

September 26, 2025 - September 28, 2025

We value equality and mutual respect, and appreciate diversity in age, race, ethnicity, national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. We actively cultivate a climate of purposeful inclusion of everyone. Gender neutral calling will be used for all dances. Join us in CONTRA JOY!

Each dancer and camp staff must individually register under a unique email not shared with another camp registrant. Otherwise, you will overwrite the other registrant's info in our database.

Children under 13 will be admitted free with a registered adult but are not registered.

Dancers must agree with the Cascade Contras COVID Policy

Cascade Contras on the River brings dancers together from many areas across the US and Canada. Because the risks of COVID infection varies from one area to another, we will be applying the following health safety protocols to reduce the chance of COVID exposure.

MASKS - Masks will NOT be required and will be optional at the choice of the individual dancer.

COVID TESTS - Test strip or dated photo of same-day home rapid COVID test showing negative results will be required upon initial arrival.  We do not provide test kits.

THIS POLICY MAY CHANGE BETWEEN NOW AND THE EVENT DATE. If this policy is changed after you register for Cascade Contras, you will be able to cancel and receive a refund if you are not willing or able to comply with the revised policy.

Please mark the box below if you agree.

We are implementing a sliding scale for Cascade Contras 2025

Everyone 18 years or more must register. Pay what you can by selecting the payment level that best fits your budget. This approach allows those who can contribute more to help offset the cost for those who can contribute less. Youngsters under 18 are free and do not need to be registered. Children must accompany a registered adult.

The Eugene Folklore Society is a 501c3 charitable non-profit organization. While your camp registration fee is not tax-deductible, you can make an additional tax-deductible contribution to further support Cascade Contras on the River.

Volunteering?

Cascade Contras will need a few people to arrive early on Friday to help with setup, stay late on Sunday to help with camp takedown, help at the check-in table each day, set out snacks, sweep the dance floor between sets or just help keep the dance venue tidy.
